How does smart battery storage work?
1. Energy production. Your photovoltaic system produces solar energy. Infimeo tracks in real time how much you are producing and how much you are currently consuming.

I don’t have photovoltaics, but I am considering it. Can you install it for me along with the battery?
If you don’t already have photovoltaics, we recommend that you have them installed by a photovoltaic supplier through SSE. You can also order a smart battery storage system from SSE called Infimeo. What is the lifetime of smart battery storage?
The minimum lifetime of an Infimeo battery is 10-15 years (depending on the manufacturer). However, the user can influence it – both positively and negatively – by the way it is used and the number of charging cycles. For example, you can extend the life of the battery by using the Infimeo control unit: among other things, it optimises charging and discharging so that battery wear and tear is slowed down.
