What determines the battery price?
The final price depends on several technical parameters identified during the initial energy analysis. Customers do not select the manufacturer or inverter themselves – we recommend the optimal configuration based on the household’s or business’s specific needs.
Key factors influencing the price include:
- Technology type: Pylontech with GoodWe inverter is indoor-only, while Huawei (IP66 rated) can be installed indoors or outdoors
- Battery storage capacity
- Inverter power: typically up to 10 kW for households, up to 25 kW for businesses
- Optional add-ons, such as a backup system for energy independence.
What sets Infimeo apart from the competition?
Infimeo stands out because of its full-service approach. FUERGY, the technology provider, ensures the entire implementation process:
- Initial energy analysis to identify exactly what your home or business needs
- Tailored solution design

Do you need solar panels to use Infimeo?
Infimeo Smart Battery Storage does not require solar panels to generate income. Infimeo isn’t just a passive storage for solar energy – it’s an intelligent device that actively responds to the needs of the electricity grid and can generate revenue even without photovoltaics.
Is Infimeo worth it without solar panels?
Yes. Thanks to the smart Energy Management System (EMS), Infimeo battery storage can earn money by participating in grid flexibility services. This means your battery helps stabilize the grid when there’s too much or too little energy. In return, Stredoslovenská energetika (SSE) pays you monthly rewards. Commercial flexibility can be more profitable than simple energy arbitrage, but it requires collaboration with an energy supplier – so being an SSE customer is a prerequisite, as they are Infimeo’s partner.
Infimeo can even be upgraded with a backup power option – using a Backup Box for Huawei systems, or with a backup integrated directly into the inverter (supported by GoodWe). These backup solutions ensure that during a power outage, the system automatically switches to battery power, keeping your selected critical appliances running. For businesses, this is a clear advantage: no halted production, no system failures. While competitors calculate losses from downtime, with Infimeo, everything keeps running smoothly.
Infimeo with solar panels: the perfect combination
If you already have solar panels or are considering them, get ready for a combination that makes perfect sense. Infimeo actively interacts with the grid and earns you money through grid flexibility services.
The intelligent Energy Management System EMS monitors your consumption, production, available battery capacity, electricity prices, and grid conditions in real time. It then decides whether to charge or discharge the battery. You’re not just storing solar surplus – the system always works to maximize savings or profits, without limiting your electricity usage.
For example: if EMS predicts excess solar energy, it preemptively frees up battery capacity so you can fully utilize it.
With Infimeo, you can maximize your energy usage not only for your own consumption but also to support the electricity grid. For this service, SSE rewards you regularly, helping your battery investment pay off much faster.
The cherry on top? You maximize the use of your own solar energy, significantly reduce your carbon footprint, and become energy self-sufficient. Through the Infimeo mobile app, you can even see your CO₂ savings translated into trees, giving you a clear picture of your environmental impact.
Is it possible to get a subsidy for a smart battery?
Currently, there is no dedicated subsidy program for battery storage systems. The good news is that the European Union is strongly pushing for green solutions, and several larger programs (for example, from the Recovery Plan) are already targeting batteries.
This situation could improve in the near future. It’s worth keeping an eye out – at Infimeo, we monitor all developments for you and will keep you informed about any news.
Financing options with installments
Infimeo currently offers installment financing only for businesses. Your monthly installment can even be lower than the income generated from providing grid flexibility – so in a sense, the battery can “pay for itself.”
What technical requirements do you need to meet?
There are just four basic requirements: you need a distribution board with enough space for the control unit, an EIC code for your delivery point, a 4-quadrant meter (measuring energy in both directions), and you must be an SSE customer.
Ideal installation location
Infimeo is compact, so it easily fits in a technical room, storage space, or garage. It only requires normal ventilation – no dedicated air conditioning or special treatment is needed. We recommend placing it as close as possible to the distribution board.
If indoor space is limited, outdoor installation is also possible. Huawei batteries are built for durability, with IP66 protection against rain and dust. They are typically mounted on a wall, ideally under a small roof or overhang to prevent overheating in direct sunlight.
The battery storage system can also be safely mounted on an insulated exterior wall without significantly affecting the building’s thermal performance. The key factor is the type of insulation material used – when properly selected and installed, the building’s thermal protection remains intact.
How is Infimeo installed?
From site assessment to project handover, the full installation process takes up to 3 months. Commissioning of Infimeo itself is quick – most installations are completed within a single business day.
Infimeo must be installed in a dry, well-ventilated location, indoors or outdoors, away from direct sunlight and rain. During operation, ventilation openings or the heat dissipation system must not be blocked.
The installation site must also be clear of fire and water hazards (e.g., away from sewer pipes and sprinklers) to prevent water infiltration. The supporting surface must be firm and level.
5 steps to a complete solution
- Site assessment – A certified technician will visit the installation site to evaluate its readiness. They will visually inspect the electrical installation, document the site with photos, check the meter, distribution, and home panels, and measure the space for the battery storage system.
- Final solution proposal – After the inspection, you will receive a tailored final offer, specifying the optimal battery capacity based on your energy consumption and available space.
- Installation – Technicians will install the battery, connect it to the distribution board, and configure the communication. The plug & play system minimizes the need for invasive work.
- Commissioning – The battery is powered on, tested, and the connection with the EMS (Energy Management System) is verified.
- Mobile App – You get access to the Infimeo mobile app, where you can monitor real-time energy consumption, production, battery status, and financial earnings.

Is the battery safe?
Safety is our top priority. Infimeo solutions are built exclusively with LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) technology, which is chemically more stable and safer than standard lithium batteries.
LiFePO₄ technology significantly reduces the risk of overheating and fire. It is used by global leaders such as Pylontech and Huawei. All Infimeo battery storage systems meet the strictest European certifications and fire safety standards. Continuous 24/7 online monitoring is included, allowing any deviations to be detected early.
Protection against overheating and fire
EMS by FUERGY (Energy Management System) manages the operation of the Infimeo battery storage. Oversight of the battery modules themselves is handled by the BMS (Battery Management System).
The BMS is integrated directly into the battery racks and communicates with the higher-level EMS. Its role is to continuously monitor voltage, current, and especially temperature, ensuring the battery never reaches a harmful state (overcharge, deep discharge, or dangerous overheating).
If any parameter reaches an undesirable value, the BMS immediately intervenes and safely disconnects the battery. In addition, the system also has active thermal management, which cools or heats the battery as required to keep it in ideal condition at all times.
Service and recycling
The minimum lifespan of Infimeo batteries is 10 – 15 years (depending on the manufacturer). Service is provided by us through certified partners. 24/7 remote monitoring allows most problems to be resolved online, with a technician visiting only when necessary. At the end of its lifespan, the battery is recycled in an environmentally responsible way.
